Portraits of dear, queer friends, and fellow creators. Portraiture is my preferred art as I am fascinated by people and their intent and behavior. Dreamy, colorful, and minimalistic, this series is a collection of some favorite portraits. The images that speak to me deeply and capture the softness of the human experience are presented here. Some subjects allowed me to experiment with paper eyes, that I had cut from magazines, and others agreed to pepper their cheeks with sticky gems. Mythology and renaissance themes combined with an array of vivid colors unify the images in this series to create a compelling composition.
